Cindy Nordahl

Cindy came to us many years ago with experience as a medical insurance biller, having worked over the years for two separate hospitals in Stanislaus County.  She also brings experience as an insurance claims processor, having worked for a large insurer prior to joining our staff.  

She started with us in a Receptionist-Medical Records position and also managed the Dermalogica line of retail products in our office.  She was promoted to Patient Accounts Manager in August 2003.  She currently manages all insurance billing generated by our office as well as general patient accounts. Additionally, she frequently serves as an advocate on behalf of our patients when troubles arise with insurance coverage parameters.

Cindy is trained in skin care and makeup techniques and can also be frequently found in the Retail Area demonstrating her significant knowledge of the various Dermalogica, DCL Anti-Aging and Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup products.

She is married with two active daughters and an extremmely busy son.  She and husband Steve are avid Raiders fans and Cindy can often be seen tooling about on her lunch hours in her "Raiders Silver" van, the second she's had since starting with us.  She has also recently earned a reputation as the office's premier poker player!

Cindy's abilities as a patient advocate and her background in claims and billing make her an ideal go-between for patients having problems and questions with their insurance plans.  She currently works from 8:30 to 2:30 daily due to her involvement with her family and her children's school activities.
