ESTHETICIAN AND ASSISTANT RECEPTIONIST

Christy works full time at Gary Wagner, M.D. having originally joined the practice as a Licensed Esthetician several  years ago. A graduate of Ceres High School, she followed her dream of a career in the cosmetology field with training and Board Certification as a Licensed Esthetician.

She has over the past few years intermittently worked in a salon environment as well as taught esthetics at a nearby beauty college, but as she prefers the medical environment experience afforded by her position at Gary Wagner, M.D., we are delighted to have her with us on a full-time basis.

She regularly pursues additional levels of esthetic educational courses and hands-on training, having already accumulated a stack of certifications in make-up artistry, product knowledge, massage techniques, therapeutic modalities, microdermabrasion specialization as well as continued learning related to dermatologic applications specific to  the medical practice setting. 

Specializing in customizing treatments for the acne-prone patient, she also tailors combination facials and various at-home treatment regimen for patients seeking to minimize the effects of dry or oily skin, scarring, irregular pigmentation, sun damage, and aging. Patients and clients interested in a complimentary consultation need only call to schedule a free skin care or makeup analysis with Christy.

In addition to her menu of facials, waxing, paraffin treatments and medically supervised esthetic services, she also manages the Retail Area inventory and handles patient education, product demonstrations and sales.  .

Christy also helps at the front desk as our Assistant Receptionist  when not treating a patient or assisting a client. 

Her non-work interests revolve around her family and friends who, like the staff at Dr. Wagner's office, appreciate her gentle, caring nature and unflappable disposition.  She was recently surprised with a trip to Cabo San Lucas for her birthday.... and true to form, she was calmly packed and ready to go at a moment's notice!
