PRACTICE DIRECTOR  - CONTROLLER

Babette Nunes Wagner

Babette works primarily in the business side of the practice handling the accounting, marketing, and contracting aspects of Gary Wagner, M.D. as well as the management of staff and facility. She also occasionally works in direct patient care.  She is trained in color analysis, skin care regimen and treatments as well as makeup artistry and works in the retail area by appointment. She speaks passable Spanish as well as French.

Babette holds a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry and pursued  a Masters in Business Administration at California State University, Stanislaus. After twenty years as a practicing registered dental hygienist in the Modesto area, some of which was in tandem with designing, building and managing her husband’s medical practice since 1990, she is now retired from dentistry and works full-time as Practice Director of Gary Wagner, M.D.

She has been active throughout the Stanislaus County and Alameda County communities with various professional , volunteer, activist and political organization activities and has served over the years on several business and not-for-profit boards. She has two grown children and two grandchildren and enjoys spending her free time with family and  friends.  She and her husband, Gary, formerly cruised and raced sailboats on San Francisco Bay.  However,  with their long list of interests outweighing available time, her current  hobbies include her pets, piano, jazz, opera, going to horse races, travel,  foreign language study, reading, writing and gourmet cooking.
